Nonogram Online - Daily Nonograms Puzzle
Welcome to Nonogram Online! Play free classic nonograms (also known as Hanjie, Paint by Numbers, Picross or Griddlers) with our daily updated puzzles. Start with our easy 5x5 grids, perfect for beginners.
What Is a Nonogram?
A nonogram is a logic puzzle where numbered clues tell you which cells to fill. Solving the row and column clues can reveal a picture, a symbol, a letterform, or an abstract pattern.
Daily Nonograms
The daily game has two classic modes: Easy and Hard. Easy gives you a compact 5x5 puzzle for a quick solve, while Hard gives you a 10x10 daily puzzle with more clues, more deduction, and a stronger challenge. Both daily modes share the same daily puzzle number, so today's Easy and Hard boards belong to the same day.
Unlimited Classic Puzzles
Unlimited play lets you keep solving after the daily puzzle. Choose 5x5 puzzles for warmups, 10x10 puzzles for balanced logic practice, 15x15 puzzles for harder deduction, or 20x20 expert puzzles when you want a long-form grid.
Color Nonograms
Color nonograms add multiple filled colors to the same grid. Each color has its own clues, so you solve by matching both the clue lengths and the clue colors. Play Color in 5x5 or 10x10 sizes from the header.
How to Play
- Read each row and column clue as groups of filled cells.
- Leave at least one empty cell between clue groups of the same color.
- Fill cells that must belong to a clue group, and mark cells you know are empty.
- Use the row clues and column clues together; every decision should fit both directions.
- Complete the grid when all clues match the filled cells.
Solving Tips
Start with the largest clues, especially clues that nearly fill a row or column. Cross off cells that cannot fit any clue, look for overlapping clue placements, and use smaller confirmed groups to unlock nearby columns. On larger puzzles, slow steady marking usually beats guessing.
